Whisperer Dreams: Hotel President Wilson
When it comes to luxury hotel stays, if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all, right? Wrong! I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying some of the most extravagant hotel experiences, but clearly I’ve been doing this hotel thing all wrong. My newest luxe goal? Living out all my baller Beyoncé fantasies in the world’s most expensive hotel suite.
The Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, Switzerland is officially the home of your wildest suite dreams. Not only does the hotel have the largest suite in Europe at 5,500 square feet (the suite occupies the entire eighth floor), but also the most expensive in the world, according to Travel+ Leisure. For a mere $80,000 a night – pause for reaction – the Royal Penthouse Suite can be all yours. Let’s take a peek shall we.
Skip the check-in desk next to the average folk and head straight to a private elevator that opens up to pure opulence. The suite features 12 bedrooms, including two master bedrooms, each with a marble bathroom and a Jacuzzi facing the Lac Leman, the world’s largest TV screen by Bang & Olufsen, a Steinway grand piano, a billiards table, an en-suite gym, Hermès toiletries and an art collection of rare and ancient pieces.
Since the suite is often booked by VIPs, the suite also comes equipped with bulletproof windows, a reinforced safe and emergency alarm buttons around the suite. Which is great because who wants to worry about safety when you’re trying to relax in your enormous bed and jacuzzi tub?
If you need to take in a bit of fresh air, there’s no need to actually leave the building. Simply step outside onto your wraparound terrace and breathe in stunning views of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc.
Talk about goals. Let me start saving my coins now!
